Emily Aker

I provide operational and strategic support for the Clark lab, helping to maintain a well-organized research environment that allows lab members to focus on scientific discovery. My responsibilities include laboratory safety and regulatory compliance, financial planning and grant management, equipment and inventory oversight, research and technical support, and the development of shared policies and protocols. I also coordinate the onboarding and training of lab members, manage laboratory communications and resources, and lead the organization of research conferences, collaborator visits, and other special events.
